Hospice is appropriate for anyone with a serious illness who is expected to have less than 6 months to live. Sometimes, it may not be possible to cure a serious illness, or you may choose not to receive treatments if they don’t align well with your quality of life goals. Hospice may be appropriate at these times - it provides a way to have comfort, peace and dignity without curative care.,
